Underscoring his administration’s commitment to continue the already eight and a half year long occupation of Afghanistan, President Barack Obama made a surprise visit today and delivered a speech declaring the war ‘absolutely essential.’
Citing 9/11, President Obama insisted that continuing the conflict makes all Americans safer, and assured the troops that “everyone” knows the importance of the continued occupation of the landlocked nation.
He also threw water on the notion that the war might come to an end any time soon, saying “the United States of America does not quit once we start on something.” He reiterated his confidence that the US would ultimately prevail.
But despite pledging to give the troops a clear mission and a clear goal, and insisting that they would “get the job done,” he didn’t make it at all clear what exactly this job was. His only hint at any mission beyond endless conflict was a reference to al-Qaeda in the region, though administration officials have repeatedly conceded that there are virtually no al-Qaeda members left in Afghanistan, and have not been in some time. Yet momentum and a sufficiently hawkish administration suggests the conflict will continue to find enemies wherever it can and continue indefinitely.

Global National Intelligence Services Confirm Israel Did 9/11 Says Former UN Diplomat and Defense Contractor

Duff confirmed Dr. Sabrosky’s assertion of 03-11-10 that it was Israel who pulled off the 9/11 attacks. Duff also confirmed that in agreement with Dr. Sabrosky, on June 8, 1967 it is certain an Israeli warship and Israeli war planes attacked the American ship, the USS Liberty, killing 34 and wounding 174 U.S. servicemen. Furthermore, at that time the American government mislead the American people into thinking that it was the United Arab Republic (included Egypt). who had attacked the USS Liberty. In other words the attack on the USS Liberty was a false-flag incident which Israel caused to try and pull the U.S. into a war against ISRAELI’s enemies, the United Arab Republic (included Egypt). Duff went on to say that to deny what actually happed with the USS Liberty is treason. This was an American “Holocaust” perpetrated by Israel.
Duff also informed the listening audience that today in European nations if someone in conversation mistakes how many Jews died in the Holocaust (you say 5,999,999 died instead of 6,000,000) they are charged with being an anti-semitic Holocaust denier and they are sent to prison for 5 years. This occurs whether the charge is true or not. If you try and fight the charge of anti-semitism, you go to prison for 10 years instead and your lawyer goes to prison with you.

“I can, I can tell you that I have heard the same thing from the directors of national intelligence agencies who’ve told me this in confidence to the extent that, I won’t say who they are, but I’ve been assured that they know and they can prove that Israel did it [9/11]. But of course what do you do when we can have this discussion about the Main Stream Media or Zionism…you know I mean uh when fact has to be certified by a news media that is owned or controlled by people who work directly for the Israeli government inside the U.S. then there will be no truth.”
Duff also went on to say that pretty much everyone involved with the 9/11 commission has come out claimed mia copa and said
“They lied to me, they lied to me. Others walked off with and big fat check and said nothing. Still others shut their mouth so their kids wouldn’t die. Oops, I’m not supposed to talk that way! But, it’s exactly what goes on.”
McGrath responded to Duff by asking,

“They talk about another issue with, uh, with Israel. We were talking about how we ended up in the Middle East. Let’s look at this Georgia South Osettia War. Uh, now supposedly 1500 Israeli commandos were there. That Georgia is a surrogate state of Israel. Uh, that key high-ranking Bush administration officials work for that government and manage affairs in Georgia for Israel. That Israel is heavily invested in all of the Caspian region pipelines uh because gas and oil transmission is frankly not a dishonest way to make money. But it’s a dishonest way to make money when you secure your investment by drawing your best friend and benefactor the United States into two hopelessly insane wars. And while we’re celebrating that big win in Iraq uh well, if Iran is our enemy, they’re pretty much running Iraq. So, if we don’t like that, then, we lost the war. The Americans, the reason they’re not dying every day of course for the most part is because they’re staying inside their bases because the violence level right now in Iran is very high. He pointed out that there aren’t any Israelis fighting in America’s two wars but there are about 70,000 Pakistanis. There are 30,000 troops in the streets of Islamabad due to the suicide bombers.
U.S. contractors and India are heavily involved in drug processing in Afghanistan. The U.S. benefits from the sale of drugs that stem from poppy crops grown within Afghanistan. These drugs are now able to be manufactured within Afghanistan rather than having to have the raw materials taken out of the country first. The war is being fought ineffectively because once the war stops billions of dollars of heroin money go away. Americans who see all of the massive drug dealing (with US contractors and India heavily involved) are told not to discuss the involvement of the U.S. in the drug business in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan and India are friends. Pakistan and India are dangerously bitter enemies. Duff stated that Israel is sending American military technologies over to India: AWAKs, anti-ballistic missile systems, highly advanced ABM systems. Combined they’re building ballistic missiles. Duff stated that Israel and India right now are in the process of developing nuclear inter-ballistic missiles (ICBMs) with a range to hit everywhere in the United States. These same ICBMs have a minimum range that makes them unable to be used against Iran. If the US and Europe are Israeli allies, why does Israel need these ICBMs?

And Israel feels that somehow they’re going to meet that uh long established goal of being able to play one person against the another, I guess the way the British did it really 200 years ago, but they’re going to play the Great Game and come out on top somehow, whatever that is. Uh, I actually had a go round with Warren Buffet about that because Buffet had said he had agreed to pay a million dollars to the Paralyzed Veterans of America if the Swift Boat Vets could be proved wrong and they were and Buffet refused to pay. Another archaeological "proof" of ancient Israel goes "poof!"
Egypt is literally littered with the ruins of the ancient temples and palaces of her rulers. As much as has been found, it is estimated that only 1/3 of Egypt's archeological wonders have been uncovered. A newly discovered temple was uncovered while digging a sewer line, and a cache of finely preserved mummies was literally stumbled over by a cow in a pasture.
Iraq's ancient heritage was enshrined in its ancient sites and museum. As a result of the war, many of those sites have been damaged or destroyed. Part of the ancient city or Ur now lies underneath a US air base runway. Nebuchadnezzar's palace now lies underneath a US-built parking lot. The treasures of the museum have only partly been recovered. The treasures from the looted archaeological sites have been scattered to the world.
All of this wealth of archaeological treasures must of course annoy Israel. We are raised from birth with Old Testament tales of the greatness of the ancient Israelites, of the powerful kingdoms of Solomon and David and the first temple. Yet Israel, while rich in antiquities, is almost totally devoid of artifacts from this supposedly glorious time in her history. The existence of the fabled First Temple was supported with just two artifacts, a carved staff ornament in the shape of a pomegranate and the Jehoash tablet. Both of these artifacts have been exposed as frauds. We are told that once there was a magnificent temple on that hill, but it "all went away."
The wonders emerging from the soil of Egypt, Iraq, and Iran serve as a constant reminder that ancient buildings of such a scale as we are told the First Temple was simply do not vanish without a trace.
There is considerable reason to suspect that the tales told in the Old Testament are just that; tales. The Bible is not science, it is the collected stories of a primitive tribal people telling each other how important they are. And like fishermen talking about the one that got away, or Ramses with his temple carvings of the did-not-really-happen victory over the Hittites at Kadesh, the writers of the ancient testaments assumed that the people they were telling stories to had no way to verify the claims for themselves. So "embellishment" was a low-risk activity.
We do know from the available archaeological evidence that the Exodus probably actually happened to the Hyksos, not the Israelites. We know that the story of Moses is suspect because no Egyptian princess would hide a Hebrew child inside Pharaoh's household, then give the kid a Hebrew name ("Moses" is actually an Egyptian title meaning "Prince" and is included in the names of many Pharaoh's names such as Tut-Moses, Ah-Moses, Ra-Moses (Ramses) etc.)
Likewise, the story of Masada may be less than accurate. The remains found on the mountain were buried with pig bones, something no proper Jewish funeral would tolerate, which suggests that the bodies found and venerated as heroes of ancient Judea were actually those of dead Romans, for whom burial often involved animals as gifts to the spirit of the dead.
But a good story is a good story and the writers of the ancient texts were probably not thinking much further into the future than the guys who pen the "Celebrity dates space alien" stories you see at supermarket checkout lines. The fact that the celebrity is a real person does not prove the space alien exists. It's just a story.
Given enough time, even a simple story written in jest can take on a life of its own. Scientology began as a bet between two science fiction writers; look how wide spread that has become in just a short time.
But, over time, entire religions with attendant wealth and power structures have been built on the premise that these old testament stories really happened exactly as written. And today, here in the 21st century world, science has started to catch up with these ancient legends and call many of them into doubt.
So, for a nation that justifies its existence on the writings of the Torah, the plethora of sites and artifacts confirming the ancient histories of Egypt, Iraq, Iran, etc. etc. etc. must seem a dire political threat for a nation whose own ancient history seems to have left little if any traces at all.
In that context, the strange behavior of the US military which posted guards around the Iraq oil ministry while bulldozing Iraq's archaeological sites starts to make sense, if the supporters of a very insecure nation decide that leveling the archaeological playing field is preferable to allowing the obvious disparity in artifacts to remain visible to the world.
